Views and Filters

Organize your roadmap with kanban boards, priority views, and filters.

Evergreen's roadmap supports multiple views and filters to help you organize and navigate your initiatives.

Available Views

Kanban View

The kanban view groups initiatives by status, displayed as columns on a board. This is the default view and is ideal for tracking workflow progress.

Columns:

  • Proposed — New ideas and suggestions
  • Ready — Evaluated and queued for work
  • Implementation — Currently being worked on
  • Testing — Work complete, being verified
  • Completed — Done and verified
  • Blocked — Cannot proceed
  • On Hold — Paused intentionally

Move initiatives by dragging them between columns or by editing the initiative status. Click an initiative to view its full details, RICE scores, and linked objectives.

Priority View

The priority view displays all initiatives in a single list, sorted by RICE score from highest to lowest. Use this view to decide what to work on next.

The priority view shows:

  • Initiative title and status
  • RICE score and individual component scores
  • Linked objectives
  • Creation date

Roadmap Scopes

Each scope has its own roadmap view:

  • Project Roadmap (Project → Roadmap) — shows initiatives scoped to that specific project only.
  • Team Roadmap (Team → Roadmap) — combines team-wide initiatives with initiatives from every project belonging to the team.
  • Organization Roadmap (Organization → Roadmap) — combines org-wide initiatives with initiatives from every project in the organization.

Filters

Project Filter

Available on team and organization roadmap views. Select one or more projects to show only initiatives associated with those projects. When no projects are selected, all projects are included.

Scope Toggle

The Include scope-wide initiatives toggle (on team and org roadmap views) controls whether team-wide or org-wide initiatives appear alongside project-level initiatives.

Toggle stateWhat you see
On (default)Team/org-scoped initiatives + project initiatives
OffProject initiatives only

This is useful when you want to focus purely on project-level execution without the higher-level strategic items in view.

Filter by Objective

Select an objective to show only initiatives linked to that objective. This helps you see all the work that contributes to a specific goal.

Filter by Status

Show or hide specific statuses. For example, hide "Completed" initiatives to focus on active work, or show only "Blocked" items to resolve dependencies.

Filters can be combined. For example, show only "Implementation" initiatives linked to a specific objective to see what is actively being worked on for that goal.

Sorting

All roadmap views sort initiatives by RICE score (highest to lowest) by default. Initiatives without a RICE score appear at the bottom.

See RICE Scoring to learn how scores are calculated.
