Create Your Organization

Collaborate with organization members and manage shared projects under an organization

Evergreen supports both personal workspaces and organization-based collaboration. Organizations let you share projects, invite colleagues, and manage permissions.

Personal vs. Organization Workspace

  • Personal workspace — Great for solo users, freelancers, or individual projects
  • Organization workspace — For teams that need shared access and collaboration

Creating an Organization

  1. After signing in, open the workspace switcher in the sidebar
  2. Click Create Organization
  3. Enter your organization name and an optional description
  4. Optionally upload a logo (PNG, JPG, WEBP, or SVG up to 2MB)
  5. Click Continue — you'll be taken to billing to choose a plan

You can update the name, description, and logo at any time in Settings > General.

Inviting Members

Once your organization is created:

  1. Go to Settings > Members
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter their email address
  4. Assign a role (Admin or Member)

Members will receive an email invitation and can join immediately.

Note: Adding and removing members is tracked in your account's activity history and reflected in your organization's usage metrics.

Tip: You can switch between your personal account and any organization you belong to using the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar.
