Create Your Organization
Collaborate with organization members and manage shared projects under an organization
Evergreen supports both personal workspaces and organization-based collaboration. Organizations let you share projects, invite colleagues, and manage permissions.
Personal vs. Organization Workspace
- Personal workspace — Great for solo users, freelancers, or individual projects
- Organization workspace — For teams that need shared access and collaboration
Creating an Organization
- After signing in, open the workspace switcher in the sidebar
- Click Create Organization
- Enter your organization name and an optional description
- Optionally upload a logo (PNG, JPG, WEBP, or SVG up to 2MB)
- Click Continue — you'll be taken to billing to choose a plan
You can update the name, description, and logo at any time in Settings > General.
Inviting Members
Once your organization is created:
- Go to Settings > Members
- Click Invite Member
- Enter their email address
- Assign a role (Admin or Member)
Members will receive an email invitation and can join immediately.
Note: Adding and removing members is tracked in your account's activity history and reflected in your organization's usage metrics.
Roles & Permissions

| Owner | Full access, billing management, organization deletion |
| Admin | Manage members, create/delete projects, all project features |
| Member | Access projects, view data, run crawls |
Tip: You can switch between your personal account and any organization you belong to using the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar.
