Objectives & Key Results

Set measurable goals for your website using the OKR framework, grounded in real site data.

Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) in Evergreen let you define measurable goals for your website and track progress using real data from crawls, audits, and analytics.

Scope Levels

Objectives can be created and managed at three levels:

  • Project — goals specific to a single website or property
  • Team — shared outcomes across all projects a team owns
  • Organization — company-wide strategic priorities visible to all org members

Navigate to Objectives from whichever context you're working in — the sidebar adapts to show the appropriate scope.

How It Works

Objectives represent what you want to achieve. Key results define how you will measure success. Together, they create a clear framework for planning and tracking website improvements.

Each objective must belong to exactly one scope. Key results can be linked to roadmap initiatives, giving you a direct line from "why" to "what" to "how."

Key Features

  • Multi-level scoping — Create objectives at the project, organization, or team level
  • Key results tracking — Break objectives into specific, measurable key results
  • AI-powered suggestions — Let Evergreen suggest key results based on your site data
  • Roadmap integration — Link key results directly to roadmap initiatives
  • Status tracking — Monitor objective progress with clear status indicators
  • Time-bound goals — Set start dates and target dates for every objective
