AI-Suggested Key Results

Evergreen can analyze your website data and suggest key results tailored to your site's current state and objectives.

How It Works

When you add key results to an objective, you can click Suggest Key Results to let Evergreen's AI generate recommendations. The AI considers:

• Your website's content — Page count, content depth, and structure
• Audit findings — Current content health scores, common issues, and gaps
• Analytics data — Traffic patterns, search performance, and trends (if GA4/GSC are connected)
• Existing objectives — What you have already committed to, to avoid duplication
• Your project context — Website type, categories, and content strategy goals

Using AI Suggestions

1. Open an objective and click Add Key Result
2. Click Suggest Key Results to generate AI recommendations
3. Review the suggestions — typically 3-5 specific, measurable key results
4. Accept suggestions you like, modify them to fit your context, or dismiss ones that are not relevant
5. You can always add your own key results manually alongside AI suggestions

What to Expect

AI suggestions are grounded in your actual site data, not generic best practices. For example:

• If your blog section has an average content score of 58, the AI might suggest "Raise average blog content score to 75 by improving the 15 lowest-scoring posts"
• If Search Console shows 23 pages with declining impressions, it might suggest "Reverse impression decline on the 10 highest-traffic affected pages"
• If your crawl found 12 orphaned pages, it might suggest "Reduce orphaned pages from 12 to 0 by adding internal links"

AI Usage Limits

AI suggestions count toward your plan's monthly AI call limit:

Each suggestion request counts as one AI call. You can generate suggestions multiple times for the same objective if needed.

Fallback Behavior

If the AI is unable to generate suggestions (due to rate limits, parsing issues, or insufficient data), Evergreen provides a set of sensible default suggestions based on your website type. You can always add key results manually regardless of AI availability.
