Content Map
Browse and manage all discovered pages across your website
The Content Map provides a complete inventory of every page discovered on your website. Unlike the Visual Sitemap which shows hierarchy, the Content Map is a flat, searchable list optimized for finding and managing individual pages.
Adding Your First Pages
When a project has no pages yet, the Content Map shows an empty state with options depending on which branch you are viewing:
- Live branch — click Add Sitemap to go to Connections and submit your sitemap URL. Evergreen will crawl the sitemap and populate the Content Map automatically.
- Other branches — click Add Your First Page to manually add a page to the selected branch.
Tip: Connecting a sitemap is the fastest way to populate your Content Map with all existing pages.
Branches
Content Maps support multiple branches so you can track your live site separately from staging, redesign, or campaign variants. Use the branch selector at the top of the page to switch between branches.
Page Discovery
On the live branch, pages are discovered automatically through multiple sources:
- Sitemap crawling — Pages listed in your XML sitemap
- Link crawling — Pages found by following links during the crawl
- Analytics import — Pages with traffic data from GA4/GSC
On other branches, pages can be added manually in addition to those discovered by crawls.
